Former world champion George Groves has made his prediction ahead of Daniel Dubois vs Fabio Wardley this weekend.
If May's heavy-hitting war is anything to go by, we're in for a treat when Dubois and Wardley lock horns for a second time at London's O2 Arena this weekend.
Wardley dropped Dubois in the first and third round, but 'Triple D' bounced back emphatically and recorded a TKO victory in the 11th round.
Dubois is priced as the odds-on favourite to retain his WBO heavyweight strap on Saturday night, and former super-middleweight champion George Groves is backing him to get the job done.
Speaking on Sky Sports' Toe2Toe podcast ahead of the eagerly anticipated bout, Groves argued that the fight was not in Wardley's hands last time out, despite two early knockdowns:
“I have seen him [Wardley] say ‘I caught him, I hurt him, I blew it. It was mine to lose,’ and I don’t think that is the case, to be honest. I think that it was almost Dubois’ to lose.
“Dubois is the better boxer. He’s got better movement, faster hands. I mean they both can crack, but Dubois has got crazy power", he added.
Dubois' attitude has been questioned in previous years, most notably following defeats against Joe Joyce and Oleksandr Usyk, and Groves highlighted this as a main factor that could decide the outcome of Saturday's heavyweight encounter.
He said: “One thing I thought about is the mentality of Dubois. Sometimes, he’s on it, and usually sometimes after a big win, he’s not there.
“Really, it is [about] what is going on in Daniel’s head. If he has the mentality of, ‘I beat this guy, all I have got to do it show up, I am a better boxer,’ then he might come unstuck.
“I think that, if he shows up, he walks it.”
