Bournemouth are reportedly considering a move for Thomas Frank to replace under-pressure manager Marco Rose.
The Cherries currently find themselves in the Premier League relegation zone after failing to win any of their opening six league games.
Rose's side suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat to Chelsea as they returned to action after the international break at the weekend.
Whilst some of their performances have been better than their current points haul of three suggests, the club's hierarchy are concerned with the start of Rose's tenure.
The former Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig boss has big shoes to fill following last season's sixth-placed finish under Andoni Iraola, with reports suggesting that the club are already contemplating alternatives.
Football Insider have reported that conversations have already been held internally about the possibility of approaching Frank.
It is claimed that the club could face competition for the 52-year-old from Crystal Palace, who are also interested in the former Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford manager.
Frank has been without a club since being relieved of his duties at Tottenham in February, but he is still highly regarded in the English game following a successful spell at Brentford.
The Danish coach could potentially have his pick of a few options as the season continues, but Bournemouth's talented squad could provide him with an excellent opportunity to bounce back from his time in North London.
