After four years at the club without making a single appearance, Omar Richards has completed a move away from Nottingham Forest.
Richards was one of 22 senior signings to make their way to the City Ground in the summer of 2022, as Nottingham Forest embarked on one of the most ambitious squad overhauls in recent memory following their return to the top flight.
Prior to making the move to the East Midlands Richards had spent a single season in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich where he became just the second Englishman ever to play for the Bavarian giants, after Owen Hargreaves.
Richards made 17 appearances in all competitions as Julian Nagelsmann led Bayern to a tenth-consecutive league title, and Forest's signing of the burgeoning prospect for £10million was viewed as something of a coup.
However, shortly after his signing the club would also announce the arrival of Neco Williams would see him fall down the pecking order before a serious injury ruled him out for the entire season.
After returning to fitness Richards was sent out on loan to Olympiacos the following year, before spending the last two seasons with another of Forest's sister clubs Rio Ave in the Primera Liga.
On Friday it was announced that Richards had completed a permanent move to Greek Super League side Aris, signing a four-year deal with the Thessaloniki-based club.
In the four years he spent at the City Ground Richards did not play a single game for the club in all competitions, with his only competitive appearance in Forest colours coming with the club's under-21s in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal last August.
Aris finished fifth in the Greek top flight last season, and have signed another former England youth international in the form of ex-Watford midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru this summer.
