Reading are on the lookout for a new striker after manager Leam Richardson confirmed the League One club have accepted a bid for Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan.
The 23-year-old is a product of the club's academy and he will depart the Royals after a five-year spell in the club's first-team squad.
Ehibhatiomhan has made 177 appearances for Reading, scoring 47 goals, with 10 of them coming last season.
With his contract set to expire next summer, the Royals have made the decision to cash in after a bid was tabled by Danish club AC Horsens and Richardson is now on the lookout for a replacement.
Reading have already finalised deals for centre forward Jacob Brown, centre-back Udoka Godwin-Malife and midfielders Kyreece Lisbie and Josh Stokes this summer, but the attention will now turn to a replacement for Ehibhatiomhan.
Richardson has hinted to reporters that he would like two more signings through the door within the next week and, with striker Jack Marriott picking up an injury in the last few days, the importance of a new striker becomes paramount.

Marcus Forss - Free Agent
Former Middlesbrough striker Marcus Forss is still looking for a new club after leaving the Riverside Stadium earlier this summer.
Forss has struggled with injuries and he tried to resurrect his career at Bolton Wanderers last year when joining on loan.
He scored five goals in 27 appearances, but his spell was cut short in January by a hamstring injury.
Forss has been training with Bolton in an attempt to stay fit and he would provide the physicality that Reading lack in the final third.
Freddie Draper - Lincoln City
Freddie Draper is still tied to recently-promoted Lincoln City, who will play in the Championship this season.
Draper scored eight goals in 39 appearances for the Imps before spending the final few months of the season in the treatment room.
Draper would offer versatility to the Royals' forward line, having played as a support striker and midfielder in the past.
After Lincoln's promotion, Draper may find regular football hard to come by and his ability to play a variety of roles could tempt Richardson into making a move.
Ross Stewart - Free Agent
Powerful striker Ross Stewart is likely holding out for a move to a Championship club, but after a tough few years with injury, his best bet may be to drop into the third tier.
Stewart failed to agree an extension at Southampton and, as a Scotland international, a move to League One may be considered a backwards step.
However, Stewart needs to rediscover his fitness and touch in front of goal and he would be guaranteed regular minutes at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Paul Mullin - Free Agent
Paul Mullin's historic spell at Wrexham came to an end at the end of last season and he has been linked with Wigan Athletic, Bolton and Cambridge United already this summer.
Reading would offer Mullin more first-team football and his physicality and eye for goal would certainly be welcomed by Richardson.
Mason Burstow - Hull City
Mason Burstow spent last season on loan at Bolton and a return to League One could be beneficial, even if Reading have to settle for a loan deal.
Burstow proved he could handle the physicality of the third tier and he scored 12 goals in 45 appearances in League One.
Hull City's promotion to the Premier League means he is likely to drop down the pecking order and Burstow can also play as a left winger, something Ehibhatiomhan did in the past.
Burstow is still under contract until 2028, and Reading will be interested to hear Hull's asking price in what promises to be a big year for the 22-year-old.
Andreas Weimann - Free Agent
Austrian Andreas Weimann would provide plenty of experience to the Royals, having made nearly 400 Championship appearances so far in his career.
Weimann has been linked with Rotherham United, who have dropped into League Two.
A move to Reading would certainly offer Weimann a better challenge and he proved last season that he could still stay fit, having made 44 appearances for Derby County and then Rapid Vienna in Austria.
