Valencia sign off their season by welcoming La Liga champions Barcelona to the Mestalla on Saturday evening and the hosts are in for a tough challenge based on recent trends.
Los Che have lost nine of the last 11 La Liga meetings with Barca and Carlos Corberan's side are without a league win at home against any of the current top six in La Liga this season.
The hosts need a win and help from elsewhere if they are to claim an unlikely European involvement for next season, but that is likely to prove beyond them.
Best Bet - Barcelona to win @ 19/20

Best Bet: Barcelona to win @ 19/20
Barcelona completed the perfect season at home with a 3-1 victory over Real Betis last time out, making it 19 wins from 19 at the Camp Nou.
On the road, however, they have proved fallible, with five defeats and one draw in 18.
Valencia's recent run of three wins in five games was required to steer them away from the relegation zone and such is the nature of La Liga this season just six points separate Los Che in ninth from Girona in 18th with one game left.
Barca have won the last five meetings in league and cup, including two here. They have not lost at the Mestalla since 2020, winning five of six visits since.
Los Che's recent run has staved off relegation worries, but they may come up short against top-six opposition one more time.
Alternative Bet: Over 3.5 goals @ 11/10
Recent meetings have yielded plenty of goals. Barcelona are responsible for 18 in the last three clashes alone, scoring at least five times in each instance.
Both teams have scored in 12 of Valencia's 18 home La Liga games this season and Los Che have scored in six of Barca's previous eight visits.
Over 3.5 goals has landed in four of the last five meetings of these clubs – the only failure being in the Blaugrana's 2-1 win here in August 2024, so another goal-fest is forecast.

Poland international Robert Lewandowski has confirmed his intention to leave Barca this summer. The 37-year-old has scored 119 goals in 192 games, helping the Catalans win three La Liga titles and the 2025 Copa del Rey.
His last strike came against Osasuna earlier this month and, while he made just a cameo appearance in the title-securing win over Real Madrid, he has started both games since.
He has nine goals in six games against Valencia, scoring in each of the last four, and can sign off in style.
At the other end, Hugo Duro can at least test the champions' rearguard.
He got on the scoresheet in a dramatic 4-3 win at Real Sociedad last week, moving into double figures for the season in La Liga and has netted in three of the last four league meetings between these teams.
Both teams to score has obliged in 12 of Los Che's 18 home La Liga games this season, while Barca have just one clean sheet in their last four games.
The bulk of the goals may come after half-time and it's worth noting that a goal has been scored in the opening 15 minutes in just seven of Valencia's 37 league games so far.
