Paris Saint-Germain have already had one loss and two draws in Ligue 1 in the seven games they have played so far this season, exactly the same record as Monday evening's visitors to the Parc des Princes, Lyon.
However, PSG have won their last four in the league and last seven in all competitions, while Les Gones have only won two of their last four in Ligue 1 and suffered a 3-0 Europa League defeat at Hoffenheim on Thursday.
The Parisians enjoyed a thrilling 4-2 UEFA Champions League victory at home to Barcelona two days earlier, but that came at the expense of injuries to Marquinhos, Ousmane Dembele and, most seriously, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - with that trio all absent for the visit of Lyon.

Best Bet: PSG to win & both teams to score - Yes @ 11/8
Two-time reigning European champions PSG made a stuttering start to the new season but have now won seven consecutive matches, four of them in Ligue 1, to seemingly get back on track.
However, Luis Enrique's side have kept just a single clean sheet across 12 games played in all competitions, that coming in a 1-0 Ligue 1 success at Brest more than six weeks ago.
Therefore, it makes sense to back the Parisians to get the job done at their own Parc des Princes but to do so while conceding against a Lyon outfit who have scored in 12 of the 14 games they have played in all competitions so far this season.
Both teams have scored in all of the seven most recent meetings between these two sides and there seems to be little reason to think that that sequence will not be extended, especially with key PSG defender Marquinhos ruled out.
Alternative Bet: Desire Doue to score anytime @ 11/10
Desire Doue endured a tough start to the new season, having been given greater game time following the departure of Bradley Barcola to Premier League Liverpool.
He failed to find the net in seven games following his strike in the 2-1 European Super Cup win over Aston Villa, but has re-found his goal touch in recent weeks, scoring against Manchester City, Strasbourg and Barcelona.
The 21-year-old France international netted seven times in Ligue 1 last season despite limited opportunities and will want to improve on that mark this term, with a strike against Lyon taking him halfway to that target.
PSG to win by one goal
Ferran Torres 2+ shots on target
Remy Descamps 3+ saves
Pays 12/1
PSG are certainly back on form after failing to win any of their opening three fixtures in Ligue 1, but the loss to injury of key trio Marquinhos, Dembele and Kvaratskhelia in the win over Barcelona is sure to have an impact.
Enrique's side have scored at least three times in all of their last four outings, but may well find goalscoring more of an issue with both Dembele and Kvaratskhelia sidelined, the latter possibly for the season after undergoing knee surgery.
With those absentees in attack noted, Ferran Torres will be asked to step up along with Doue and the former Barca and Man City forward has had four shots on target across his last four appearances - at least two against Lyon should not be beyond him.
Finally, Les Gones goalkeeper Remy Descamps has only just returned from a hand injury and made three saves in the 2-1 victory over Nice last weekend, so expecting him to make three or more against PSG seems more than reasonable.
