Erling Haaland scored a brace against Denmark to continue his phenomenal goalscoring form. He has scored nine goals in his last six games for club and country and his double on Thursday took his tally to 64 international goals. He has netted 37 of those in 27 appearances since the start of 2024 and he unsurprisingly looks like Norway’s best route to goal.
Team-mate Martin Odegaard is just as important, though. He provided two assists against Denmark and has scored or assisted in 11 of his last 14 appearances for Norway and Arsenal.
Cristiano Ronaldo failed to find the net against Wales, but that is certainly not for lack of trying. He had seven shots in that game and has totalled some 31 shots in his last nine games for Portugal and Al-Nassr.
Portuguese left-back Nuno Mendes stands out in the fouls market. He was fouled twice against Wales and drew 12 fouls in five starts at the World Cup, with two or more fouls being won in eight of his last 10 for club and country.
