England have fallen behind Spain in World Cup qualifying Group A3, but they will expect to conclude the league phase with a victory over struggling Ukraine at Wembley Stadium.
Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses have taken 12 points from five qualifiers, but their hopes of first place and automatic qualification are hanging by a thread after Friday's mauling in Mallorca when they subsided 4-0 to world champions Spain.
England were given a footballing lesson by La Roja, who carved out numerous opportunities and finished the contest with a 21 to three shot-count advantage.
There remains a theoretical automatic qualification opportunity for the Lionesses, who would finish first if they claim more points than Spain from the final round of matches.
But that possibility seems extremely slim as Spain prepare themselves for what should be a fairly simple task against third-placed Iceland in Reykjavik.
Second place and a berth in the play-offs seems almost certain for England, whose main focus will be on securing a return to winning ways.
And that should not be too much of a problem against sectional basement dwellers Ukraine, who have yet to put any points on the board.
Ukraine have suffered five losses, including a 6-1 hammering at home to England at the start of the qualification process.

Ukraine have been by far the poorest team in World Cup qualifying Group A3, but they have shown some improvement over the course of the campaign and can avoid an absolute hammering under the Wembley arch.
There could be a subdued atmosphere in the stands with England supporters fully aware that their team has lost control in the battle for top spot.
The Lionesses are on the same points tally as Spain, but they were utterly outclassed by the world champions in Friday’s contest and it may not be a simple task to get such a poor performance out of the system.
Wiegman’s side will be fully expected to sweep aside Ukraine, who are 31 places lower in the FIFA rankings (four as opposed to 35).
But the Ukrainians showed a competitive edge in Friday’s narrow 1-0 loss at home to Iceland and they will be keen to show that they have improved since their 6-1 defeat to England on matchday one.
A shock Ukrainian victory is highly unlikely, but a more competitive game is in store and the sensible play is to side with the away side to avoid losing by more than three goals.
Alternative Bet: England Women to win 3-0 @ 13/2
England may have to settle for a fairly modest margin of victory over Ukraine, who they hammered 6-1 at the start of qualifying.
Ukraine have conceded fewer than four goals in three of their last four games and they can limit the Lionesses to a 3-0 success.
Ukraine are likely to set up with a deep lying defence and could test the patience of the home side, who may have to rely on their effectiveness from corners and free-kicks.
There should be plenty of crosses loaded into the Ukrainian penalty area and one of the main aerial targets could be England central defender Lotte Wubben-Moy, who has scored some excellent headed goals over the course of her career.
With that in mid, expect there to be plenty of corners in the match and over 11 in total has a decent prospect of landing.
