Burton Albion v Huddersfield Town Prediction: 30/1 Bet Builder for League One clash

Burton Albion and Huddersfield Town are locked on 12 points apiece in League One, but both could rocket up the table with a win at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday.

The Brewers brought an end to their recent winless streak at Plymouth Argyle last weekend and moved up to seventh in the standings, but they are just three points off the top of the table in what is proving to be a competitive League One season.

The visiting Terriers are also in the mix, but their unbeaten start to the campaign ended last weekend and they will need a swift response.

Burton Albion v Huddersfield Town Tips Summary

Best Bet - Burton Albion win or draw double chance @ 10/11
Alternative Bet - Both teams to score @ 7/10
Bet Builder - Over 2 goals, under 10 corners, Huddersfield to have the most corners & Jack Armer to score @ 33/1

Burton Albion v Huddersfield Town Prediction

Best Bet: Burton Albion win or draw double chance @ 10/11

Burton may have been second best for large portions of the game against Plymouth at Home Park, but they scraped a 1-0 win and they should take a lot of confidence from that result.

Despite their recent four-game winless run, the Brewers have lost only three of their 10 competitive games this season and they are unbeaten at home since an EFL Cup loss to Blackburn at the start of August.

Huddersfield’s morale will have taken a hit with their 2-1 defeat at Bromley and they have now failed to win their last three League One fixtures.

They are winless in their four meetings with Burton in the past two years and have won just one of their four league away fixtures this season.

Alternative Bet: Both teams to score @ 7/10

Burton’s 1-0 win at Plymouth was just the second time both teams to score has failed to land for the Brewers this season and punters should expect a return to the norm at the Pirelli Stadium.

There have been goals at both ends in all six home fixtures and Huddersfield have seen both teams find the net in seven of their nine matches this season.

The Terriers’ last trip to Burton ended in a 3-1 defeat and another high-scoring game would not be a surprise.

Burton Albion v Huddersfield Town Bet Builder Tip

  • Over 2 goals

  • Under 10 corners

  • Huddersfield to have the most corners

  • Jack Armer to score any time

    Pays 33/1

Twenty-five goals have been scored in Burton’s eight League One fixtures and neutrals may be in for another thriller at the Pirelli.

At least three goals have been scored in six of their eight league assignments and in each of their last three home league matches, while four of Huddersfield’s last six games have featured more than two goals.

The in-form Jack Armer could be a surprise scorer of one of these goals, too. The 25-year-old has already surpassed his goals tally from last season with three strikes and he has found the net in his last two games.

The corner count may remain low, though. Just 12 per cent of the Brewers’ League One games this season have seen corners in the double figures and Huddersfield’s corresponding figure sits at 29 per cent.

The Terriers have won almost double the amount of corners as Burton, though, with the Brewers averaging a division-low 3.13 corners per game and Huddersfield winning 5.71 corners per game on average.
