Sean Dyche is yet to return to management after his short stint at Nottingham Forest ended in February.
The 55-year-old has admitted that he has enjoyed his media work in recent times, but the managerial door remains ajar for the right role.
Dyche has walked into difficult situations at more than one Premier League club, however we are still early enough into the current campaign that it wouldn't be seen as firefighting this time around.
Thomas Frank
Thomas Frank will be out to prove a point following his dismissal at Tottenham Hotspur in February.
His time in North London ended in disappointment but his reputation has not been impacted greatly when considering his successful spell at Brentford.
The opportunity to return to the Premier League with the added bonus of European football is likely to appeal.
Kjetil Knutsen
Despite being linked with numerous positions, Kjetil Knutsen is yet to be appointed by a team in a major European league.
The Norwegian has guided Bodo/Glimt to four domestic titles as well as inspiring some memorable European campaigns.
The club reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League in 2024/25, before reaching the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League last season.
Jesse Marsch
Former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch is currently in charge of the Canadian national team.
His current contract expires at the end of the 2030 World Cup, while he led Canada to the Round of 16 this summer.
Sunderland would have to try and get Marsch out of his current deal, but the lure of a return to the Premier League could be tempting.
Carlos Corberan
Carlos Corberan lost his job at La Liga side Valencia in September.
The Spanish coach is no stranger to English football having previously managed Huddersfield Town and West Bromwich Albion.
He is yet to manage in the Premier League but he retains a strong reputation in this country.
