Every signing Rangers have made in the 2026/27 summer transfer window

Rangers have made a strong start to the 2026/27 summer transfer window as they look to bridge the gap on Old Firm rivals Celtic ahead of the new season.

After a dismal start to the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership term under the stewardship of Russell Martin, Danny Rohl was appointed to steer the club back in the right direction.

He did so convincingly -- leading the Gers to just one defeat in 25 top-flight games before the fixture split -- but a post-split demise saw the Glasgow outfit lose four consecutive games, ultimately falling 10 points short of Celtic and finishing third.

In a shocking twist, Rohl left Rangers to join Red Bull Salzburg on 17th June, and the club appointed former Hearts boss Derek McInnes.

McInnes has been well backed since joining the 55-time Scottish champions, and we take a look at every signing that Rangers have made in the 2026/27 summer transfer window.

Every signing Rangers have made in the 2026/27 summer transfer window

  • Ivor Pandur - €7.00m
  • Ross McCrorie - €1.30m
  • Dan Neil - free transfer
  • Lawrence Shankland - free transfer
  • Ben Godfrey - loan

Ivor Pandur leads the way as the most expensive Rangers addition in the 2026/27 summer transfer window, joining the club for a reported €7m from Hull City.

In a separate, but linked deal, Jack Butland is set to go the other way -- closing in on a switch to the MKM Stadium in a deal worth £3m.

Ross McCrorie -- who emerged through the Rangers academy and made 55 appearances for the club before leaving for Aberdeen -- has returned to the The Teddy Bears from Bristol City, enjoying a productive 2025/26 Championship season where he scored three goals and recorded six assists from the left and right flanks.

Rangers utilised a break clause in Lawrence Shankland's Hearts contract that saw him join the club on a free transfer, and Gers supporters will hope that he can be just as prolific in royal blue after scoring three times against the club in 2025/26.

Dan Neil spent the second half of last campaign on loan with Ipswich Town, but his contract with parent club Sunderland came to an end following the conclusion of the 2025/26 term and Rangers have snapped up the midfielder on a free transfer -- joining on a three-year contract.

Ben Godfrey has joined the club on a 12-month loan spell, but Rangers do have the option to make his arrival permanent in the summer of 2027.
