The 2026 Commonwealth Games commence on Thursday 23rd July as some of the best athletes in the world look to showcase their talent in Glasgow.
This year's Games will be the 23rd edition since the inaugural British Empire Games in 1930 and a total of 74 Commonwealth Games Assocation (CGA) members will be participating.
Members of the CGA include sovereign states, British Overseas territories, Crown Dependencies, and the four seperate home nations of the United Kingdom: England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
England, Scotland and Wales are three of six nations to have competed at every Commonwealth Games alongside Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
Gabon and Togo will be making their debuts in 2026 after joining the organisation four years ago.
