Ballydoyle supremo Aidan O'Brien has nine runners at the 2026 Breeders' Cup.
O'Brien is the winning-most trainer in the history of the meeting, with 21 victories to his name.
Johannesburg gave the 57-year-old his maiden Breeders' Cup success all the way back in 2001 and in the yard has gone from strength to strength in the more than 25 years since.

According to the odds, Sun Goddess is O'Brien's best chance of a winner over the two days, and it's easy to see why. She has been a remarkable juvenile, winning each of her last five races, four of which have been Group 1s.
Great Barrier Reef

Great Barrier Reef has been dealt a tough hand being drawn out in 14, but he might just have the talent to overcome his wider-than-deal post. His effort in the Dewhurst can be marked up after running into traffic; he has to have a huge chance.
Florida Bay

Beaten by Giant Sequoia, Folsom Blues and Amusingly on his last three starts, Florida Bay might not be right out of the top draw, but there is hope that he can run a decent race on Friday night. Handed stall three, he's been more fortunate than some of his stablemates.

Christophe Soumillon takes the ride on Haffner, who was a Group 2 winner last time out in the Royal Lodge. Son of American Triple Crown winner Justify, it was good to see him put a disappointing showing in the National Stakes behind him and he has a nice draw in four.
Precise
Saturday 19:04 - Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf
Precise goes up against Blue Bolt for the fourth time this season, still yet to get the better of her great rival. Upped to 10 furlongs on her last start, she appeared to deal with the extra distance well and is bound to be there or thereabouts at the finish yet again.
True Love
Saturday 20:20 - Breeders' Cup Mile
Wayne Lordan gets the ride on his 1000 Guineas winner True Love for her ninth start of the campaign. Pitched in against the boys for the second time on the bounce, she came out on top when winning the Prix de la Foret and that form could see her go well here.
Puerto Rico

It came as a little bit of a surprise when Ryan Moore opted to go for Puerto Rico, with the Wootton Bassett colt without a victory for more than a year. O'Brien has been purring about his charge in the build-up though, and his effort last time out was far better than anything else he has done this season.
Diamond Necklace

Another with a difficult draw to overcome in Diamond Necklace, posted out in 12. Her third in the Arc proved that she will get the mile-and-a-half trip around here and she looks as if she'll be sent off as favourite to win a sixth Group 1.
Benvenuto Cellini

Despite having six starts this campaign, you do get the sense that we haven't yet been exposed to what Benvenuto Cellini is really capable of. Winner of the Irish Derby and third in the King George, the booking of Moore might just indicate that he is about to produce the run of his life.
