RB Leipzig have reportedly revived their interest in Everton starlet Tyler Dibling.
Dibling arrived on Merseyside from Southampton last summer, with the deal, potentially worth upwards of £40million, making him one of the most expensive signings in the club's history.
The 20-year-old had been one of the few shining lights in Southampton's single-season return to the top flight, and had been linked with a number of teams from across Europe following their relegation.
Ultimately it was David Moyes' side that won out in the race to sign the England youth international, but it is fair to say his maiden campaign at the club did not pan out as so many had hoped.
Dibling had to wait until October to make his first Premier League start where he was hooked at half time in a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.
That would represent one of just four starts he would make for the Toffees in the league all season, and he was consigned to the bench for the majority of the run-in as Everton ultimately finished 13th in the table.
With his future at the club uncertain, it appears that RB Leipzig are prepared to offer him a lifeline.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Bundesliga side are monitoring developments surrounding Dibling this summer, and have long held an interest in the winger dating back to his time at St Mary's.
The club are also said to have made an enquiry for Everton's Thierno Barry, who netted eight league goals from 21 starts in his first season in English football after joining the club from Villarreal in July of last year.
Southampton are said to hold a 20% sell on clause from Dibling, who spent nearly a decade in their academy across multiple spells before making his senior debut for Saints in the EFL Cup at the age of 17.
