Nottingham Forest and Everton are amongst the teams who are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City defender Rico Lewis this summer.
Lewis has made 116 appearances for Man City across the last four seasons and he is a two-time Premier League winner.
However, he endured a frustrating campaign last season as he was limited to just four league starts.
After featuring 44 times across all competitions in the previous campaign, it was expected that Lewis would kick on and establish himself as a regular at the Etihad Stadium last season.
But former manager Pep Guardiola often preferred midfielder Matheus Nunes as a make-shift right-back as Lewis remained on the fringes.
TEAMTalk have reported that Nottm Forest and Everton are amongst the teams at the front of the queue to sign Lewis this summer.
Man City will not stand in Lewis' way if he wishes to pursue other opportunities and the arrival of Enzo Maresca is unlikely to improve his chances of first-team football.
The Cityzens are in the market for another right-back, with Chelsea's Malo Gusto believed to be on their wishlist, and any arrival would push Lewis further down the pecking order.
Lewis has been capped five times for England but he has fell out of favour under Thomas Tuchel and was left out of the 2026 World Cup squad.
Nottm Forest were interested in signing Lewis last summer and they could look to do more business with Man City alongside the eye-watering Elliot Anderson sale.
David Moyes' Everton are also looking for reinforcements at right-back ahead of the new season, while Bournemouth and Fulham are also keeping tabs on the player.
