The EuroLeague is Europe's primary club basketball competition featuring the greatest teams from across the continent.
One of the most prestigious competitions in club basketball, the EuroLeague boasts a long history, with the first edition of the competition taking place back in 1958.
The EuroLeague 2026 regular season begins on Tuesday 30th September 2025, culminating with the final fixtures on Friday 17th April 2026.
The Play-In Showdown then takes place from Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th April 2026.
Following on from the Showdown, the Play-Offs are scheduled to be played from Tuesday 28th April until Wednesday 13th May 2026.
Finally, the Final Four closes the season, which begins with the semi-finals on Friday 22nd May 2026. The final date is yet to be determined.
The EuroLeague is a round-robin format tournament, with 20 teams each playing against each other twice, for a total of 38 matches across the regular season.
Clubs compete in a league table, with the six most successful sides in the standings at the end of the season advancing to the Play-Offs, while teams who finish seventh to 10th compete in the Play-In Showdown.
20 teams compete in the EuroLeague each season, 16 of which are given long-term licences to compete in the tournament.

The champions of the EuroLeague receive a bumper €1,800,000 in prize money, with the runners-up collecting €1,000,000.
