Erling Haaland’s strike against Fulham saw him break the record as the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the Premier League.
The Manchester City star joins the exclusive club of players to score a century of goals in England's top flight and Haaland is the first to hail from Norway.
It means Haaland has reached 100 goals in just 111 matches, shattering the record previously set by Alan Shearer who reached the landmark figure in 125 matches.
Haaland's impact on the Premier League has been seismic and the Manchester City talisman has left records tumbling in his wake since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.
The Norwegian had already made history in the UEFA Champions League as he became the quickest player to reach 50 goals in the competition, reaching his half-century after 49 matches to obliterate the record held by Ruud van Nistelrooy, who needed 62 games, with Lionel Messi next on 66.
Such is the unprecedented scale of Haaland's strike-rate, he's even made the goalscoring returns of the prolific Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, Thierry Henry and Mohamed Salah seem ordinary. At 25 years of age, he could break just about every Premier League scoring record if he enjoys a similar longevity to his peers.
Haaland is contracted to Man City until 2034 and if he maintains his current scoring rate, he will eclipse Shearer's record of 260 Premier League goals by 2030.
