England return to action when locking horns with Norway in the World Cup quarter-finals at 22:00 BST on Saturday night.
After topping Group L in relatively convincing fashion, DR Congo stunned Thomas Tuchel's side with an opener inside seven minutes at the Atlanta Stadium, but a second half brace from Harry Kane saw the Three Lions over the line.
In years to come, few will forget where they were when England locked horns with Mexico in the early hours of Monday morning.
A quickfire double from Jude Bellingham put England two goals ahead, but Mexico halved the deficit through Julian Quinones just before half time. Jarell Quansah's 54th minute dismissal unnerved Three Lions supporters, but Kane extended their lead back to two goals from the spot.
While Raul Jimenez had his say from 12 yards in the 69th minute to make it 3-2, England were able to ward off an onslaught of Mexico attacks in the closing stages to retain their advantage and book their spot in the World Cup quarter-finals.
Quansah's suspension was extended to two games following a FIFA investigation and so he will miss both Saturday's contest and the semi-finals if England overcome Norway.
Jordan Henderson broke his arm in the post-match celebrations following the Three Lions' 3-2 victory over Mexico and he's unlikely to feature for the remainder of the tournament.
England trio Reece James, Declan Rice and Marc Guehi were absent from Wednesday's session, but all three returned to training on Friday in a colossal boost for Tuchel.
James has missed England's last three games with a hamstring injury, but he could return to the starting XI in place of the suspended Quansah on Saturday night -- should he be passed fit.
While England are well-equipped in the form of Dan Burn and John Stones if Guehi is not passed fit, the Manchester City defender is likely to feature -- where he will lock horns with club teammate and Norwegian brute Erling Haaland.
Meanwhile, Rice's return to training suggests that he has come out the other side of a sickness bug, and he's expected to partner Elliot Anderson in the engine room in Miami.
While Bellingham and Kane are all but guaranteed to start, Tuchel does have some decisions to make in the wide areas. With that said, both Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka impressed in Mexico City and so they're likely to get the nod over Marcus Rashford and Noni Madueke.
Jordan Pickford, Reece James, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi, Nico O'Reilly, Elliot Anderson, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane.
