He comes in to replace fellow Welshman Phil Salt -- absent due to a thigh injury -- who is one of three regulars forced to miss out, alongside both Jacob Bethell (knee) and Sam Curran (groin).

Visitors Sri Lanka haven't played a whole lot of T20 cricket since their World Cup campaign came to an end in February and what they have played hasn't panned out exactly how they'd like.
They suffered series defeat to West Indies back in early June and only returned to white-ball action last week when losing back-to-back matches to England Lions. Fitness concerns have plagued the Sri Lanka squad in recent weeks with both Kusal Mendis and Binura Fernando ruled out of T20 action.
