England head to South Africa at the back end of 2026 for three Tests and three One-Day Internationals.
The winter tour kicks off with a three-match Test series that begins at Wanderers, Johannesburg on Thursday 17th December and concludes on Monday 21st December.
Players will then break for Christmas before heading to SuperSport Park, Centurion before concluding the red-ball matches at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town for the iconic New Year's Day Test.
England and South Africa then play three ODI matches, beginning a Boland Park in Paarl before travelling to the Manguang Oval, Bloemfontein for the final two games.
Initially, there were plans to stage a T20I series between the two nations, however, due to scheduling conflicts, this has been postponed until a later date.
South Africa will welcome the Three Lions over as World Test Champions after they defeated Australia at Lord's in 2025.
It was a landmark win for the Proteas who, after 12 appearances in ICC major event semi-finals, finally got over the line to win their maiden trophy.
The last time the sides met in South Africa, it was England who came away with the spoils, winning the Test series 3-1, drawing the ODI series 1-1 before rounding off their tour with a dominant 2-1 T20I series victory.
Ben Stokes grabbed the headlines when the sides faced off in 2015/16, making a famous 258 in the New Year's Test at Newlands, finishing as England's highest run-getter and being named Player of the Series.
