Derby County have announced that four players will leave the club as free agents when their contracts expire on 1 July.
After a dismal start the Rams ultimately ended last season just four points outside the playoff places, with their eighth-placed finish in the Championship their best since 2018-19.
With their league opener away at Charlton Athletic now just six weeks away, Derby County boss John Eustace has commenced a summer rebuild, starting with the permanent signing of Bobby Clark from RB Salzburg in a deal worth a reported £6million.
The club have also been linked with a move for Senegalese forward Sambou Soumano, who is set to depart Ligue 1 side Lorient when his contract expires.
The overhaul will also see a number of familiar names departing Pride Park, with Danny Batth, Andreas Weimann, Jake Rooney and Ben Osborn all set to become free agents on 1 July.
Derby had been in talks over a new contract with Batth, who made seven starts in the Championship last season in a campaign plagued with injuries.
However, they were unable to come to terms with the centre-back who will now leave on a free.
Meanwhile Austria international Weimann has been released after just a single season in Derbyshire. He joined the club from Blackburn Rovers last summer but found starts hard to come by and spent the second half of the season on loan at Rapid Vienna.
The longest-serving player of those allowed to depart on a free, Rooney joined Derby during their time in League One in 2022 and went on to back 23 appearances for the club in all competitions.
He spent last season on a pair of loans, first with League One Barnsley and then in the National League with Boston United, where he played 16 games and scored three goals.
Former England youth international Osborn leaves Derby after spending two seasons at his boyhood club, having previously played in the Premier League with Sheffield United.
The 31-year-old spent last season with Stockport County in League One, where he was part of Dave Challinor's side that reached the final of the EFL Trophy before losing 3-1 to Luton Town at Wembley.
