We profile the eight-time European Tour event winner, 'Chizzy' Dave Chisnall.
Believe it or not, but Dave Chisnall is still awaiting his maiden ranking TV title.
'Chizzy' has cemented himself as a firm fan-favourite in the PDC, but remarkably hasn't yet managed to break his ranking duck since switching allegiances from the BDO (now WDF) well over a decade ago.
He has however had six opportunities to end that run, reaching the final of the World Grand Prix in both 2013 and 2019, as well as the finals of the Grand Slam of Darts, in 2014, the Players Championship Finals in 2016 and the Masters in 2016 and 2019 - but has agonisingly been beaten on each occasion.
Surely it's only a matter of time until 'Chizzy' strikes gold and finally ends his hoodoo.
For all of Dave Chisnall's misdemeanour's in ranking TV finals, the Morecambe man is still a serial winner on tour.
He has reigned supreme in eight European Tour events over the years, including the 2024 European Darts Open and 2024 Flanders Darts Trophy, whilst he also boasts 18 Players Championship event successes.
