British heavyweights Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley will reacquaint themselves inside the ring on Saturday night when the pair run back their classic encounter earlier this year.
Dubois picked himself off the canvas to capture the WBO title from his Queensberry stablemate in May and establish himself as a two-time blue-riband division ruler.
Wardley, who was making his first defence of the belt after being upgraded to full champion following Oleksandr Usyk's decision to vacate a few months earlier, floored his opponent twice during the opening three rounds but couldn't find that killer blow to deliver the knockout.
Dubois courageously regrouped, found his rhythm and established control of the fight, with his heavy barrage of shots finally taking their toll when the official correctly waved off proceedings in the 11th round with very little resistance being offered by the Ipswich man.
Now, the two will trade leather for a second time in a bout that has already captured the imagination of the British public.
Dubois and Wardley were handsomely rewarded for the first fight, and now, with the stakes even higher, there are expected to be even greater financial sums on offer for the rematch.
While official figures have not been publicly disclosed by the promoter, unofficial reports suggest that the fight purse for Daniel Dubois vs Fabio Wardley 2 sits at around £4.5 million.
It's understood both men picked up around £1.5 million for the first bout during the spring, although Dubois will take home a bigger share of the pot this time around.
Dubois heads into the clash as the reigning world champion and will likely earn a 60 percent cut, around £2.5 million, with Wardley pocketing a 40 percent share worth approximately £1.5 million.
According to sources, Dubois will land around £2.5 million from the fight, a greater amount than the first bout given he enters as the reigning champion and the bigger name.
Similarly to the first fight, it's believed Wardley is set to pocket around £1.5 million, although that figure could be boosted by the addition of sponsorship and endorsement deals the fighter currently holds.
According to sources online, Dubois boasts a personal fortune of around £8 million, with the bulk of that being earned through professional boxing fights.
The Londoner took home a career-high payday of £4 million when he beat Anthony Joshua in 2024, whilst he has also earned significant amounts from his clashes with Oleksandr Usyk and Joe Joyce, as well as his initial showdown with Wardley.
Wardley reportedly possesses a net worth of circa £3.5 million, although that will rise on the back of Saturday night's rematch.
