The Hundred Men Prediction

Best Bet: Trent Rockets to win The Hundred Men @ 13/2

Trent Rockets were well beaten by MI London in The Hundred Men final last season but they look a good bet to lift the trophy this summer.

The Rockets were hampered by injuries in the lead-up to the 2025 final, losing batters Adam Hose, Tom Alsop and Max Holden as well as key seamers Sam Cook and Lockie Ferguson.

There has been a significant shake-up to this summer's competition as Oval Invincibles, Northern Superchargers and Manchester Originals have rebranded to MI London, Sunrisers Leeds and Manchester Super Giants.

The pre-season player auction led to a major overhaul of the eight squads but Trent Rockets look well balanced and hugely experienced.

England's Ben Duckett loves batting at Trent Bridge and New Zealand opener Finn Allen scored centuries in this year's T20 World Cup and IPL.

Australia's Tim David is one of the biggest hitters in world cricket and Mitchell Santner, Craig Overton, Dan Mousley and Lewis Gregory are top-class all-rounders at this level.

Captain Sam Billings looks an inspired signing, having led the Invincibles to a hat-trick of titles, and the Rockets are set for an exciting campaign.

The squad reset means it should be a competitive season. Welsh Fire struggled in recent years but they will be captained by England T20 opener Phil Salt and signed Jordan Cox, who topped the runscoring chart last season.

And outsiders Birmingham Phoenix, led by Jacob Bethell, have a talented squad featuring Rehan Ahmed, Donovan Ferreira, Mitchell Owen and spinner Usman Tariq, who took 18 wickets in his first eight T20Is for Pakistan.

Alternative Bet: Liam Livingstone to be top tournament batter (each-way) @ 28/1

Liam Livingstone has fallen out of favour with England's selectors but he remains a formidable player in domestic competitions.

Livingstone will be aiming to revitalise London Spirit's fortunes and he looks a cracking each-way bet to be the top tournament runscorer.

The 32-year-old is just four runs away from becoming the sixth man to reach 1,000 runs in The Hundred and he looked in great nick for Lancashire in this year's T20 Blast.

The all-rounder racked up 456 runs in 10 innings and was the leading batter in the inaugural season of The Hundred in 2021.

Livingstone made 348 runs for Birmingham Phoenix, 116 more than any other player, and last summer he struck 19 sixes in just eight innings.

Alternative Bet: Scott Currie to be top tournament bowler (each-way) @ 20/1

Scott Currie was in the Hampshire team who reached Saturday's T20 Blast final, finishing the campaign with 26 wickets in 15 games.

Currie had claimed 47 scalps in 29 appearances for Leicestershire and Hampshire in the previous two Blast campaigns and he could shine for Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred.

The Scotland international played 16 matches for Manchester Originals in 2024 and 2025, taking 4-28 against Southern Brave last summer.

The Phoenix clearly recognise Currie's talent, making him the third-highest earner in their squad, and the seamer can reward their faith with a bumper haul of wickets.
