Southern Brave Men have lost their first three matches in The Hundred and they are desperate to stop the rot against Birmingham Phoenix Men on Thursday.
The Phoenix started their 2026 campaign with contrasting batting displays. They piled up 214-4 in a high-scoring home victory over Trent Rockets, but were bowled out for 100 in Sunday's 87-run loss at Manchester Super Giants.
Best Bet - Birmingham Phoenix most sixes @ 13/10
Alternative Bet - Joe Weatherley top Birmingham Phoenix batter @ 7/2
Bet Builder - No Southern Brave 50, Scott Currie 1+ wicket & Tristan Stubbs 20+ runs @ 5/1
Best Bet: Birmingham Phoenix most sixes @ 13/10
The Phoenix were outclassed by the Super Giants last weekend but their batters should bounce back against the struggling Brave.
The Brave have lost their first three Hundred games and overseas middle-order men Marcus Stoinis, Tristan Stubbs, David Miller and Nikhil Chaudhary are yet to fire.
Their first two home games at the Rose Bowl have been low-scoring affairs as Welsh Fire and MI London crawled to victory targets of 136 and 130.
The Brave hit only two sixes against the Fire and three against MI London so they look vulnerable in that department against the Phoenix.
The boys from Birmingham cleared the ropes 17 times in their home win against Trent Rockets and South Africa's Donovan Ferreira and Australia's Mitchell Owen add serious power to their batting unit.
Alternative Bet: Joe Weatherley top Birmingham Phoenix batter @ 7/2
Joe Weatherley has been added to the Phoenix squad and he would be a smart selection at the Rose Bowl.
The top-order batter plays his county cricket for Hampshire at the Southampton venue and he had a sensational T20 Blast campaign for the runners-up.
Weatherley became the first man in history to score two half-centuries on Finals Days, making 88 not out against Nottinghamshire and 75 against Northamptonshire.
His last four Blast innings at the Rose Bowl were 63, 61 not out, 11 and 46 and he could make a big impact for the Phoenix in familiar surroundings.
No Southern Brave 50
Scott Currie 1+ wicket
Tristan Stubbs 20+ runs
Pays 5/1
No Southern Brave 50 looks a good Bet Builder selection as Jamie Smith's 49 against MI London was their highest individual score in their first three games.
Phoenix fast bowler Scott Currie plays his county cricket at the Rose Bowl. He took 26 wickets in 15 T20 Blast matches this summer and claimed 2-40 in Birmingham's opening win over the Rockets.
Tristan Stubbs is one of the Brave's most reliable runscorers. He made 43 not out and 38 in his last two games and reached 20 in all six of his 2026 Blast appearances for Hampshire at the Rose Bowl.
