Check out MMA expert Adam Catterall's latest tips and predictions for the UFC 329 main event rematch between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway on Saturday night.
Max Holloway to win in Round 4 - 8/1
13 years after they first met inside the cage Conor McGregor and Max Holloway will once again share the Octagon on Saturday night.
The bout will mark McGregor's first fight since breaking his leg in his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier in 2021, marking one of the longest layoffs in the history of the UFC.
Standing across from the Irishman on Saturday night, Holloway has forged a legacy of his own in years since he found himself on the wrong side of a unanimous decision against McGregor.
Holloway is the younger of the two fighters and has remained active in competition throughout McGregor's absence and MMA expert Adam Catterall insists those factors will play into his favour when the pair meet over five five-minute rounds in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"If you were going to make a pick, I think the sensible pick would be edging towards Max Holloway after round two," Catterall said on bet365 Cageside.
"I think Conor's lively for ten minutes, he really is. This extra weight is a really interesting caveat to the fight, how does that affect both men.
"I think if Conor is going to win and pull off one of the major moments in UFC history, it's going to be in the first ten minutes. I can't see him winning late and I can't see him winning on points against a volume striker like Max Holloway.
"Holloway grows into the fight and gets better as the fight goes on.
"My pick would be Max Holloway in round four as Conor runs out of gas. But if Conor lands in the first ten minutes we could be in for something incredible.
"Do not miss it, it's a Conor McGregor fight week. These are like hen's teeth in 2026, enjoy."
