Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway 2 UFC 329 Betting Odds

Check out the latest markets and betting odds for the highly-anticipated rematch between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway at UFC 329.

For the first time in five years this Saturday McGregor will return to the Octagon, where he made history as the first simultaneous two-weight world champion in the UFC.

After arriving in the promotion in 2013 the Irishman enjoyed a remarkable run up the featherweight division, defeating a fledgling Holloway that year when they met in a battle of prospects in what was just his second fight in the promotion.

Since then both fighters have gone on to great things, with Holloway bouncing back from his loss to McGregor to become one of the most dominant champions in the history of the featherweight division, while McGregor later picked up gold at 155lbs and made multiple ventures up to welterweight - where Saturday's clash will be contested.

In his last outing McGregor suffered a devastating leg break in his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier, and it remains to be seen how such a significant lay-off will affect the Irishman when he returns this weekend.

While both men typically prefer to engage in the striking range, McGregor has demonstrated an ability to overwhelm his opponents in the early going while Holloway is renowned for being able to drag his opponents into deep waters before drowning them with his indefatigable boxing.

With one of the most anticipated fights of the year now just around the corner, we've taken a look at the odds for the UFC 329 main event.

(Odds will display when the market is available).

When McGregor and Holloway first met all the way back in 2013 the Irishman entered the bout as a significant favourite and ultimately lived up to his billing as he picked up a unanimous decision win.

This time however it is Holloway that leads the betting, with the Hawaiian 20/41 to get his hand raised, while McGregor is 17/10 to claim his first win since beating Donald Cerrone in 2020.

McGregor has claimed five first-round knockouts during his UFC career, and he's 11/2 to make Holloway the sixth on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

While many fighters have returned to competition after a multi-year hiatus, very few in the annals of combat sports have been able to do so successfully, and an athlete of Holloway's calibre represents a significant test for McGregor.

No fighter in UFC history has landed more significant strikes than 'Blessed', and he is 7/2 to land more than 125 when the pair meet over five five-minute rounds.

His career record came against Calvin Kattar in January 2021 when he managed an astonishing 445 significant strikes landed of more than 700 attempted en route to a unanimous decision victory.

Holloway is 10/1 to land more than 225 against the Irishman this weekend.

Should the fight reach the final bell, McGregor is 12/1 to claim the win via decision or technical decision, while Holloway is 23/4 to get his hand raised on the judges' scorecards.
