Conor McGregor odds to defeat Max Holloway in UFC return

Check out the latest odds for Conor McGregor's fight with Max Holloway at UFC 329 on 11 July.

Following months of speculation the UFC officially announced McGregor's return to the Octagon on Saturday night, with the Irishman set to rematch Max Holloway at 170lbs.

McGregor's last UFC fight came all the way back in 2021 when he suffered a devastating leg break in the opening round of his trilogy against Dustin Poirier.

After undergoing surgery and an extended phase of rehabilitation, McGregor's UFC comeback has stalled on multiple occasions.

In 2024 he was scheduled to face former Bellator champion Michael Chandler after the pair coached against each other on the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter.

That fight was ultimately nixed when he suffered an injury just two weeks before they were set to meet in the main event of UFC 303.

McGregor later was suspended for 18 months after failing to notify drug testers of his location on three occasions, with his return cleared as of March of this year.

Now the UFC's first simultaneous two-weight world champion is scheduled to feature as the headline bout for the landmark International Fight Week card in Las Vegas this summer.

Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway II odds

After a long period of inactivity McGregor is stepping straight back in at the deep end against one of the UFC's most decorated talents.

The pair first met in 2013 as McGregor began his ascent up the featherweight ranks having won his UFC debut four months earlier.

Holloway stepped into the fight after McGregor's original opponent Andy Ogle pulled out with injury, with the Hawaiian having already fought five times in the UFC aged just 21.

When the pair met inside the cage McGregor comfortably won a decision, winning the early striking exchanges before effectively utilising his grappling in rounds two and three to get the nod on all three judges' scorecards.

Of course, Holloway has come on leaps and bounds in the 13 years since he was so resoundly should out by McGregor at the TD Garden in Boston.

The 34-year-old went on a 13-fight win streak after the bout, and claimed the UFC featherweight belt that McGregor had previously vacated with a win over Jose Aldo in 2017.

In recent years 'Blessed' has remained a top contender after moving up to 155lbs, and enters his rematch with McGregor as a significant favourite.
