Chelsea will look to right some wrongs from prior to the international break when hosting Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues' good start to the season was undone by Hull City and Brentford, picking up just one point from those two games to fall back into mid-table.
The Cherries have been better than their start suggests, but new boss Marco Rose will be keen to get a first Premier League win under his belt sooner rather than later.
Chelsea are amongst the hardest teams in the league to predict in terms of a starting XI, with Xabi Alonso flitting between a back three and a back four as he tries to give his bloated squad game time.
Alonso gave a positive update on Reece James, who may be drafted back into central midfield alongside Moises Caicedo, who the Chelsea boss said is 'finally ready to go'. With no fresh defensive concerns, Alonso may stick with the back three from the Brentford defeat with Pedro Neto deployed as right-wing-back and Jorrel Hato potentially coming back in on the opposite flank.
There were doubts around Cole Palmer with the forward missing England duty, but he's expected to be fit. Joao Pedro missed the trip to Brentford before the international break but Alonso suggested he's also available having trained recently.
For the visitors, they'll be without Alex Scott for the next month having picked up a hamstring injury with England, and he joins Eli Junior Kroupi on the sidelines. Julian Araujo and Justin Kluivert will also miss out through injury, though Veljko Milosavljevic and Amine Adli are nearing returns.
As such, Lewis Cook should represent Bournemouth's only change, coming in for the injured Scott.
