Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen defender Andrea Natali.
The 18-year-old centre-back has been capped by Italy at various age groups and has been tipped as a star of the future.
Natali opted to leave the Barcelona academy to move to the Bundesliga last summer.
Bayer Leverkusen opted to loan the Italian youngster out to Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar, where he primarily appeared for the club's development team.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Premier League side Brighton are keeping tabs on the player, whilst the likes of Napoli and Cagliari are also interested.
It is claimed that Natali could move on this summer but he will want to move to a club where he can see a path to the first-team.
Brighton are notorious for picking up gems for small fees and making a huge profit when selling those players on.
Their scouting team are responsible for the signings of Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, Jan Paul van Hecke and Yves Bissouma over the years.
All four moved on for sizeable fees and they will hope that they have unearthed another top prospect in the form of Natali, if the club can agree a deal.
Natali is a defender who is known for his ability to play out from the back and he is also capable of driving into midfield with the ball, which are attributes that are likely to appeal to manager Fabian Hurzeler.
