Blackburn Rovers are reportedly prioritising the signing of Bournemouth striker Daniel Jebbison this summer.
Jebbison spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Championship side Preston North End, where he scored six goals in 40 appearances across all competitions.
The 22-year-old has scored three goals in 21 outings for Bournemouth since arriving from Sheffield United in 2024 and he has struggled to find his feet consistently in front of goal.
The Canadian striker was left out of Jesse Marsch's squad for the 2026 World Cup following an underwhelming goalscoring campaign at Preston.
The 72 have reported that Jebbison could be set for another loan move away from Bournemouth next season, with Blackburn at the front of the queue.
Premier League newcomers Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City have all been linked with a move for Jebbison in recent times.
However, it is Blackburn who are now looking to proceed with a loan move as they prioritise the signing of a striker.
Rovers finished 20th in the Championship table last season as they accumulated enough points to stay up under the stewardship of Michael O'Neill.
Only bottom side Sheffield Wednesday scored less goals than Blackburn and it is an area that new manager Tony Mowbray will be keen to address.
The potential addition of Jebbison provides another option but Blackburn supporters will be hoping that he can increase his goal contributions if he does complete the move.
