Ayyoub Bouaddi next club odds

After a breakout 2025/26 campaign, Lille's 18 year-old Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi looks set to join one of Europe's biggest clubs this summer.

A French youth international, Bouaddi switched allegiances to Morocco in 2026 ahead of the World Cup, with his strong performance against Brazil - only his fifth senior international cap - catching the eye.

The 18 year-old - a product of Lille's famous youth system - had a sensational season in 2025/26, starring for the French side both domestically and in the Europa League.

Bouaddi has already played 96 times for his club side, possessing significant experience despite his young age.

In his short career so far, the Moroccan has already covered numerous positions, having featured in midfield, right back and even at centre back.

Reports have suggested that Lille would demand a fee of around €80m to part with their midfield starlet, with huge clubs unlikely to be dissuaded by the large fee.

With all that in mind, let's take a look at which clubs could make a move for Ayyoub Bouaddi this summer.

Arsenal

One of the clubs most heavily linked with a move for the Lille man is Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta's side, fresh from lifting the Premier League title last season, are reportedly set to be heavily active in the transfer window this summer, as they look to consolidate themselves amongst Europe's very best.

The Gunners already have Miles Lewis-Skelly, Martin Zubimendi, Declan Rice and Christian Norgaard in their midfield positions, however the latter is set to depart the club this summer.

This would open the room in the squad for the 18 year-old, who would then be in a position to compete with Zubimendi for a starting spot in the Arsenal side.

Finances would be no problem for the Gunners, who have a number of players on the verge of an exit, making them strong contenders for his signature.

Paris Saint-Germain

With their current strategy of hoovering up the best young talents, there's no surprise that back-to-back UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain have been heavily linked with a move for Ayyoub Bouaddi.

The Parisians already have some of the best midfield depth in Europe, with Vitinha, Fabien Ruiz, Joao Neves, Warren Zaire-Emery and Senny Mayulu on the books of the French champions.

However, with Zaire-Emery linked with a move to a number of clubs - including Liverpool - a space in the squad could open up for the acquisition of one of Ligue 1's best.

PSG would offer Bouaddi the opportunity to remain in his native France, which could be a key factor in deciding his future, especially given his young age.

Liverpool

After an extremely poor 2025/26 season, Liverpool are reportedly gearing up for a midfield rebuild.

Despite spending almost £500m last summer, a glaringly obvious hole in Liverpool's transfer strategy was their midfield, with very few high level replacements at the club, in case of injury or poor form.

Ultimately, poor depth in defence and midfield - alongside numerous injuries in attack - prevented Liverpool from creating a substantiated title challenge and cost Arne Slot his job at the end of the season.

Ayyoub Bouaddi fits the profile of midfielder that Liverpool were missing last campaign, to compete with and play alongside Ryan Gravenberch, who was one of the Premier League's best players in the 2024/25 season.

The required fee could be a potential drawback for Liverpool, with their heavy transfer spend last summer - and lack of saleable assets this summer - potentially limiting their budget for this window.

Real Madrid

Having already secured four major signings ahead of the new season, Real Madrid are likely to be in the running for Europe's top talents.

Los Blancos, under new manager Jose Mourinho, are looking to re-establish themselves as football's top dogs, with a poor couple of seasons domestically and in the UEFA Champions League unthinkable in Madrid.

Real's midfield has been an area of focus since Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro departed, with Federico Valverde Madrid's only fully reliable player in their engine room at present.

Ayyoub Bouaddi could be targeted by Madrid to help set their midfield up for the present and the future, as they aim to get back onto winning silverware next season.

Manchester United

After the departure of Casemiro this summer, Manchester United will be in the midfield market this summer.

One of the most important things for United to deal with in recent seasons had been the wages in their squad, with too many players on significantly high wages in the prime of their careers.

Since the switch to a newer model, the Red Devils have targeted younger players earlier in their careers, who could grow with the club on their rebuild back to the top.

Ayyoub Bouaddi fits that bill, performing at an extremely high level at the beginning of his career, while the transfer fee would be no issue for Michael Carrick's side.
