Arsenal have received a boost regarding Martin Odegaard's fitness, with the club captain pictured in training for Norway.
The Gunners star picked up an ankle injury after a late tackle by Bernardo Silva in Norway's 2-1 defeat to Portugal on Sunday, and missed Tuesday's training session.
Speaking after the game, Odegaard said: "I took a knock to my ankle. It definitely won’t feel good tonight, but I hope it improves over the next few days."
But ahead of the trip to Wales on Thursday evening, Odegaard was seen on the training pitch alongside Manchester City's Erling Haaland.
Odegaard has impressed for Arsenal in the first few weeks of the Premier League season, and his absence would represent a significant blow for Mikel Arteta.
Declan Rice misses the international break as he attempts to manage his workload following a marathon 2025/26 campaign, but many of Arteta's star names will have a busy fortnight with their national sides.
The likes of Gabriel, Ezri Konsa, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Mikel Merino, Martin Zubimendi, Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Riccardo Calafiori and Viktor Gyokeres will all be in action for their countries over the next couple of weeks.
Jurrien Timber is having his minutes managed having not long recovered from injury, while Kai Havertz has already picked up an injury in Germany's clash against the Netherlands.
