It's not been the best international break for Arsenal, whose fans will have been hoping to see their players come through the other side unscathed.
As it's happened, a number of first-team stars have returned to North London and are set for a spell on the sidelines.
Of course, Declan Rice didn't make the England squad to begin with, owing to load management, while Piero Hincapie missed out on Ecuador duty. Captain Martin Odegaard picked up an ankle injury with Norway but was able to recover and should be fine to play upon his return to the Gunners.
Below, we look at Arsenal's injury problems and who could be fit to play this weekend against Leeds.
Kai Havertz was the first to fall, playing just 30 minutes of Germany's Nations League fixture with the Netherlands, missing the next three with a thigh issue.
The issue isn't thought to be serious, though there's little reason for Mikel Arteta to take any undue risks, and the home game with Leeds is perhaps an ideal time to hand Viktor Gyokeres his first start of the season.
There's every chance Havertz would have sat out of Arsenal's UEFA Champions League tie with Lille in midweek regardless of injury, meaning the German should return on Sunday 18th October for the trip to Nottingham Forest.
Ezri Konsa spent much of the international break dealing with a variety of complaints. Konsa sat out of the Czechia game before being recalled for the Croatia tie, picking up another issue that saw him sent home.
The issue isn't thought to be serious and with question marks around Cristhian Mosquera's fitness, Konsa may be thrown back in at the weekend.
While not Arsenal's most important player, Christos Tzolis is Mikel Arteta's first-choice in their weakest position, and a long-term absence would certainly be felt.
Despite picking up a hamstring injury, it's thought to be a minor issue. Tzolis is expected to miss the clash with Leeds, but Arteta will hope he returns the following week.
Jurrien Timber's return to action has been carefully managed by Mikel Arteta and the Dutch national side, with the full-back used sparingly over the international break. As such, Timber should be fit to face Leeds.
Ben White was left out of the Arsenal squad that lost 3-0 to Brighton owing to a groin injury, but with no fresh setbacks, the 28-year-old should be available for selection at the weekend.
Piero Hincapie missed the international break but is expected to be available for the weekend.
Not on duty in the international break owing to the back injury sustained in the World Cup, William Saliba is thought to be at least two months away from a return.
