The pressure on Russell Martin has intensified further after his Rangers team were held to a 1-1 draw away at Falkirk.
Rangers took the lead four minutes before the interval as Bojan Miovski scored from close range following a great ball across the box from Derek Cornelius.
But Falkirk hit back in the 73rd minute as a long-range effort from Henry Cartwright deflected off John Souttar and evaded Jack Butland in the Rangers goal.
Rangers, who had been below par for much of the afternoon, pressed for a late winner but the Falkirk defence held firm to secure a deserved point.
The Glasgow giants have now set an unwanted club record of conceding in 23 consecutive away games following their latest underwhelming display.
Martin's side have won just one of their seven Scottish Premiership games this season and they are already 11 points behind leaders Hearts at this early stage of the season.
The club were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the play-off round following an embarrassing 9-1 aggregate defeat to Club Brugge, while their Europa League campaign has started with defeats to Genk and Sturm Graz.
Rangers fans were audibly furious with the performance at Falkirk and they once again directed their frustrations at a manager who appears to be unanimously disliked amongst supporters.
A number of chants were aimed at Martin throughout the game and after full-time, with cries of 'Russell Martin, get out of our club' particularly loud in the closing stages.
The upcoming international break provides Rangers with some respite from competitive action but it remains to be seen how much more time Martin will receive in Glasgow.
