The future of Crystal Palace's highly coveted Adam Wharton is set to be a major talking point this summer as a number of Europe's biggest clubs begin to circle.

The prodigious midfielder has been a revelation at Selhurst Park since joining the Eagles from his boyhood club Blackburn Rovers for £18 million in February 2024.

Wharton was an instrumental figure in the club achieving their first major trophy with victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup in 2025 and the 22-year-old delivered a Player of the Match performance in the Conference League final triumph against Rayo Vallecano at the end of May.

A modern six who is progressive with the ball but equally effective out of possession, Wharton's all-encompassing skillset has piqued the interest of several clubs in the Premier League and abroad.

Palace are eager to retain the central midfielder and their incoming manager will be eager to convince Wharton that his immediate future is best placed at Selhurst Park.

Amid growing interest in Wharton's services, we assess his latest transfer odds.

Adam Wharton Next Club Odds

Odds will display when market is available. Market settled on player's club on 1st September 2026.

Crystal Palace currently head the betting to retain Wharton this summer.

Contracted to the club until 2029, the Eagles hope qualification for the Europa League will ensure Wharton remains for at least one more season.

Amongst the multitude of clubs in the frame to secure Wharton's signature are Premier League Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham.

Andoni Iraola has succeeded Arne Slot at Anfield and the Reds have intentions to strengthen their midfield options, with Wharton featuring on a shortlist which includes Bournemouth's Alex Scott.

Man Utd are long-term admirers of Wharton and are in the market for at least two new central midfielders following Casemiro's departure, while Manuel Ugarte will be made available for transfer.

The Red Devils, who secured a return to the UEFA Champions League after a two-year absence under Michael Carrick, have signed Atalanta's Ederson, so it remains to be seen whether they would still be in for Wharton still.

Tottenham have interestingly moved up to second in the betting after recent reports have linked them to the Blackburn academy graduate.

After helping his side survive relegation at the end of 2025/26, Roberto de Zerbi seems desperate to stamp his authority at the club and signing Wharton would be seen as a real signal of intent by Spurs.
