Newcastle right-back Tino Livramento has withdrawn from Thomas Tuchel's England squad due to injury.
Livramento has had a torrid time with injuries over the years, dating back to his Southampton days where a torn cruciate ligament ruled him out for 12 months.
After recovering from a thigh injury that sidelined the full-back for the final five weeks of Newcastle's 2025/26 season, Livramento was named in Tuchel's Three Lions squad for the 2026 World Cup, but he later had to withdraw after sustaining a new calf injury.
A fresh knee injury ruled him out for the start of the 2026/27 campaign, and after returning for three substitute appearances, he suffered a setback that kept him out of the Magpies' Premier League encounter against Hull City and will deny him of the chance to impress Tuchel in the England camp.

When is Tino Livramento expected to return from injury?
The extent of Livramento's setback is yet to be confirmed, but Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle revealed that the full-back will be undergoing an MRI scan when speaking on his absence against Hull.
He said: “He suffered with some discomfort in the morning after [Friday] training. He will have an MRI scan but nothing more from my side on this.
“After this international window. We hope, we pray, and we’re optimistic. That’s the only thing at the moment in this situation, what we can do. We count on the medical department to get the players back as soon as possible," he added.
Livramento is yet to start for Newcastle so far this season, and so it's unlikely that he'll be deployed from the off when the Magpies make the trip to face Coventry City on Monday 12th October.
Should it be concluded that the 23-year-old's setback is only minor, he may look to be involved when Newcastle welcome Aston Villa to St James' Park on Saturday 17th October, but Jaissle will be sure to ease Livramento back into action after a series of different injuries in recent seasons.
