European Championship Darts previous winners list

We take a look through the previous winners of the European Championship since Phil Taylor captured the competition's first title in 2008.

Phil Taylor was the winner of the inaugural European Championship, defeating Adrian Lewis in the 2008 final.

'The Power' would go on to win the following three campaigns, taking his tally to four. Despite tasting early success in the competition, he was unable to add to his total, with his last European Championship coming in 2011.

Michael van Gerwen's dominance in the competition saw him become the second player to earn four consecutive honours, levelling Taylor's tally of four.

Ritchie Edhouse was the winner of the most recent tournament, defeating Jermaine Wattimena 11-3 in the 2024 final.
