Atlanta Dream vs. Dallas Wings: Prediction & Best Bets

After upsetting Indiana Fever on the road over the weekend, Dallas Wings host Atlanta Dream at a sold-out College Park Center Tuesday at 8pm ET.

Arike Ogunbowale, the franchise's leading career scorer coming off a career-low 15.5 points, had a team-high 22, along with five assists, as Dallas held off the Fever on Saturday, 107-104.

Paige Bueckers and newly added Odyssey Sims each scored 20 points, while newly acquired Jessica Shepard had 13 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. No. 1 overall pick Azzi Fudd scored three points in 18 minutes in her WNBA debut.

Coming off a franchise-record 30 wins, the Dream got their 2026 campaign off on the right foot with a comeback, 91-90 victory on the road over Minnesota Lynx.

Allisha Gray had 24 points and eight rebounds, followed by Rhyne Howard with 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists, and Naz Hillmon with 15 points and seven rebounds.

Newly acquired Angel Reese became the fastest player to 50 career double-doubles in WNBA history with 11 points and 14 rebounds on her Atlanta debut.

Jordin Canada had 12 points, including a key late bucket, and dished out six assists.

Atlanta Dream vs. Dallas Wings betting picks and predictions

Dallas Wings +2.5 (+120)

Dallas shot 59.1% (31-for-66) from the field and 52.2% (12-for-23) from 3-point land over the weekend. While the Wings can't be expected to consistently replicate that effort, it also shows the team's perimeter capabilities.

Bueckers (19.2 ppg., 5.4 apg.) was as good as advertised as the 2025 No. 1 overall pick, finishing fifth in the league in scoring while garnering 2nd-team All-WNBA honors.

After finishing tied for the league's worst overall and home record, Dallas is eager to show its fans how much it has improved. If Ogunbowale can rebound from last year's down performance, that will be a huge help.

The Dream didn't lead against Minnesota until Te-Hina Paopao's pull-up jumper with 12 seconds left, which turned out to be the game-winner. And this was a Lynx squad without Napheesa Collier.

Atlanta will be the better team over the course of the season, but the Wings could be the most improved team in the WNBA this year, so take Dallas +2.5 at home.

Over 181.5 points (-110)

Dallas proved its willingness to sling it against the Fever, as the teams combined for 211 points in the first WNBA season opener in which both squads scored more than 100.

Will that happen again? Probably not, but the Dream showed a willingness to run-and-gun itself at Minnesota over the weekend.

This is a fresh new season with fresh players ready to glide up and down the court. Look for the Dream and Wings to play to the over.

Atlanta Dream vs. Dallas Wings Team News

Atlanta Dream

Brionna Jones, who came over from the Connecticut Sun after eight years, was the only player to start every regular-season and playoff game for the Dream in 2025. She averaged 12.8 points and 7.3 rebounds.

Right knee surgery in April has her out indefinitely, leaving a big hole in the Dream's lineup.

Dallas Wings

Azzi Fudd is listed as questionable with recurring knee issues that have followed her from UConn. Alanna Smith suffered a nasal fracture in the preseason, but she played 20 minutes and scored six points in the season opener.

Rookie Aziaha James was listed as questionable with a sprained ankle ahead of the Indiana contest, but she tallied 10 points in 16 minutes on her WNBA debut and is no longer listed on the injury sheet.
