Atlanta Dream vs. Las Vegas Aces: Prediction, Props & Best Bets

The Las Vegas Aces will host the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night in a potential WNBA Finals preview.

Both teams are looking to bounce back after weekend losses.

Atlanta (21-13) finds itself tied for second place in the Eastern Conference, just 1.5 games back of Indiana. The Dream have won eight of their last 11 contests. Las Vegas (24-12) sits in third place in the West, trailing only Minnesota and Golden State.

With tipoff set for 9:00 pm ET on ESPN, it's time to break down the matchup and discuss the best bets to mak

Atlanta Dream vs. Las Vegas Aces betting picks and predictions

Las Vegas Aces -3.5 over Atlanta Dream (-110)

This marks the third meeting between these two teams in 2026 and Las Vegas leads the head-to-head series 2-0, winning both times in Atlanta. The Aces prevailed 85-84 on May 17 before rolling to a much more comfortable 109-87 victory on August 3.

There is no real reason to think that the Dream will turn the tide in Las Vegas. They are decent on the road (9-7), but they are not as good as visitors as they are in Atlanta (12-6). Meanwhile, the Aces are 11-6 at home and their loss to Minnesota on Saturday was their first inside Michelob ULTRA Arena since July 12.

Atlanta is playing well, but Las Vegas has been one of the most consistent teams in the WNBA throughout the season. The Aces have lost back-to-back games only twice; not once have they dropped three in a row. As such, it would be no surprise to see them bounce back in style from their 92-87 setback against the Lynx this past weekend.

Finally, Las Vegas is also the healthier team. All of its top players – most notably A'ja Wilson, Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray, NaLyssa Smith and Chennedy Carter – are all good to go. Atlanta, however, could be dealing with some absences. Jordin Canada (11.5 ppg, 7.5 apg) missed Sunday's loss to Indiana with an illness and Brionna Jones (8.2 ppg, 5.6 rpg) is sidelined by a leg injury.

The Aces are also the much more rested team. They have not played since Saturday and are currently enjoying a five-game home stand that runs from August 11 through August 20. The Dream went to overtime with the Fever on Sunday (lost 95-91) and then had to travel to Las Vegas.

Atlanta Dream vs. Las Vegas Aces Under 179.5 (-110)

The Dream are a stout defensive squad, plus they will be playing on tired legs and without one of their key players in Jones.

You have to think the visitors are going to do everything they can to slow down the pace of Tuesday's contest. Atlanta ranks fourth in the WNBA and second in the Eastern Conference in scoring defense, allowing just 85.8 points per game.

Although Las Vegas is no stranger to high-scoring affairs, it can also put the clamps down on defense. Prior to the loss to the Lynx, the Aces held Washington to 76 points in consecutive contests.

All things considered, the under looks like the play to make.

NaLyssa Smith Over 11.5 points (+100)

Smith has torched Atlanta so far this season. The Las Vegas forward scored 13 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the floor in the first meeting between these two teams and then delivered 18 points on a 9-for-16 effort from the floor earlier this month.

She also heads into this matchup with plenty of confidence based on recent performances. Smith has produced three double-doubles in the last five games, including 17 points and 12 boards against Minnesota this past weekend.
