UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs. Malott Fight Purse Breakdown
As a well-established veteran and regular headliner who frequently faces top contenders, Joaquin Buckley commands a higher base pay than Mike Malott, who has fewer fights under his belt despite his divisional dominance.
Buckley's typical base pay ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per fight, though high-profile main events see roughly a 25% increase, pushing his base pay to around $187,500 for UFC Edmonton. His highest single payout to date is approximately $500,000 for his TKO victory over Colby Covington at UFC Tampa in December 2024.
Despite securing the headline spot on home soil, Malott will likely take home a lower base pay than Buckley, estimated between $80,000 to $85,000.
Malott's biggest single payout date is $180,000 to $191,000, earned during his main event victory over Gilbert Burns at UFC Winnipeg in April 2026. Although his base pay was similar to this matchup, a $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus was the difference-maker in securing that high figure.
