The UFC returns to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles California for the first time in eight years bringing a flyweight championship on Saturday, September 19th.
Nine months after their initial meeting at UFC 323, the title bout between Joshua Van and Alexandre Pantoja ended just 26 seconds into the first round due to a shoulder injury. Pantoja waived off the fight after suffering a severe injury, handing Van a TKO victory and the flyweight title. With Pantoja now healthy looking to reclaim the title and Van is ready to defend his belt, the stage is set for an exciting flyweight title rematch in Los Angeles.
The co-main event features a lightweight showdown between Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy, with both athletes looking to earn a title shot against champion Justin Gaethje. However, Dana White has stated that a win will not automatically guarantee a title opportunity, noting that it will depend on the nature of the performance. Tsarukyan and Ruffy will be eager to deliver a performance that leaves fans wanting more.
The early prelims begin at 5:00 PM ET and require a UFC Fight Pass subscription via Paramount+. The prelims follow at 7:00 PM ET, with the main card starting at 9:00 PM ET. All events can be streamed on Paramount+.
