Travelers Championship: Outright Predictions, Picks & Odds

Life on the PGA Tour moves on at some pace and just days removed from the brutal winds of Southampton, New York and a US Open that drained even the toughest competitors, 72 players have made the short hop to Connecticut for the Travelers Championship.

The final Signature Event of the season takes place at TPC River Highlands and will be a completely different test to Shinnecock Hills.

Defending champion Keegan Bradley returns to the site of his emotional 2025 triumph, while world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlines a field that still features plenty of elite names despite the post‑Major fatigue factor.

This is a tournament where putting is king, birdies come in bunches, and the leaderboard tends to be packed with the game’s sharpest iron players.

Since 2020, winners have included Scheffler, Bradley (twice), Xander Schauffele and Dustin Johnson — a who’s who of modern ball‑striking excellence.

Below, we break down the best bets for the week at TPC River Highlands.

Travelers Championship betting picks and predictions

Ludvig Aberg to win (+1900)

The young Swede continues to look like the next superstar in waiting, and this feels like the perfect week for him to strike again.

Aberg finished 17th at the US Open, closing with a superb 66 on Sunday — a round that saw him gain strokes in every main category.

That’s the kind of all‑around form that travels beautifully to TPC River Highlands, a course where precision off the tee and elite approach play are rewarded.

His recent run is about as consistent as it gets without winning. He finished 17th at Colonial, fourth at Harbour Town, eighth at the Truist Championship and fourth in the PGA Championship.

And yet, because everyone is still waiting for him to win that first Major, the spotlight feels slightly dimmer on the 26-year-old this week.

That’s often when elite young players pounce. Aberg is one of the best in this field on Par‑4 scoring, strokes gained: off the tee and strokes gained: approach.

He is second only to Scheffler for total strokes gained on tour in the last three months and his odds to win this week are four times that of the world No. 1.

If his scrambling holds up, he has every chance to claim his third PGA Tour title.

Keegan Bradley Top 5 (inc Ties) - (+650)

Bradley is a horse for this course — and few players in the field know TPC River Highlands better.

He has two wins here in the last three years, including his record‑setting 23‑under victory in 2023, the lowest winning score since 1982.

Last year, he held off a stacked chasing pack that included Tommy Fleetwood, Russell Henley, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day.

Bradley’s 2026 form has been patchy, with only three top‑20 finishes, but if there’s anywhere he can flip the switch, it’s here.

His comfort level on these greens and his ability to go low make him a dangerous each‑way play.

Bud Cauley Top 10 (inc Ties) - (+450)

Bud Cauley, whose career was stalled by a near-fatal car crash eight years ago, recently claimed his first PGA Tour victory in his 239th start at the Canadian Open.

His putting and chipping was rock solid throughout that win, but particularly on Sunday when he overhauled Saturday leader Jackson Suber and a hard-charging Matt Fitzpatrick.

He is 13th on tour for strokes gained in the last month and has two other top-10 finishes, including at the RBC Heritage in April, to his name this year.

The 36-year-old also has some intriguing course form at River Highlands, having finished tied-25th last year with a closing 67.

He opened with a 69 in the 2020 Travelers before withdrawing and could be capable of hanging around the top of the leaderboard for the weekend play this year.
