Every team in the AFC North has started 2-1, making Thursday night's battle between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns a crucial one.
Both teams had relatively low expectations coming into the season, but both have things to like and build on throughout the year. The Browns were thrashed by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they have since bounced back with two wins in a row against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers.
Defense is the calling card of the Browns, and DT Mason Graham has had a monster start to the season, but the offense has also put together some nice drives in their last two games.
Rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston looks like a future star and shares the team lead with Harold Fannin Jr. with two touchdowns. Tight end Blake Whiteheart and quarterback Deshaun Watson have their other two TDs that the offense has scored this year.
The Steelers put together their first big game on offense last week against the Cincinnati Bengals after scoring 23 total points in the first two weeks combined. Pittsburgh scored 30 points in Week 3 and Aaron Rodgers had his best game in a Steelers uniform so far. Having success on offense two weeks in a row would be huge for the offense's confidence moving forward.
Jaylen Warren leads the team with 326 scrimmage yards, but he hasn't found paydirt yet. Instead, the mix of Roman Wilson, Pat Freiermuth, DK Metcalf, and Ben Skowronek have each caught one touchdown.
