Tommy Fleetwood Odds Ahead of Hometown Major

This week is extra special for Tommy Fleetwood, as he seeks his first major championship title in his hometown.

This is not the first time Fleetwood has played in the Open Major Championship at Birkdale. In 2017, he opened with a 6-over (76) and had to up his game in the second round to make the cut.

Fleetwood ended up tied for 27th, 13 shots back from the winner Jordan Spieth.

An All-English born golfer has not won the Open Major Championship since Nick Faldo got his third title in 1992.

Playing in front of a hometown crowd at Birkdale adds another layer of excitement for Fleetwood, who aims to have his breakthrough moment at golf's final major of 2026.
