Taylor Fritz dominated fellow American Darwin Blanch in the first round of the US Open Championships on Tuesday in straight sets. Fritz scored 14 aces, and had a winning percentage of 91% on 1st serves.
The 28-year old is the ninth ranked men's player at the US Open in 2026, and will face Italian Mattia Bellucci in the second round of the tournament at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Thursday.
Bellucci knocked out Hungarian player, Zsombor Piros in straight sets to advance in his first match.
The match is scheduled to begin at roughly 12:40 PM ET at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
