Serena & Venus Williams Receive Wimbledon Wild Card Entry

It is no secret that the Williams sisters are a legendary duo, and their return to Wimbledon is expected to be no different as they step back into the spotlight.

After a four-year break, Serena Williams returned to competition at Queen's last week. She won one doubles match alongside Victoria Mboko before being forced to withdraw due to Mboko's injury.

Venus Williams never officially retired and has continued to play while taking extended breaks. She most recently competed in the 2026 French Open.

The last time the Williams sisters played doubles together was at the 2022 US Open where they lost in the first round.

Return to Wimbledon

The All England Club awarded the six-time champion doubles pair a wildcard entry into the 2026 tournament.

Their return to Wimbledon adds another chapter to one of the most iconic partnerships in tennis history.

Wimbledon is set to begin on Monday, June 29, although the official schedule has not yet been released.
