Next weekend's UFC Fight Night card has lost one of its headlining athletes, with Sean Brady withdrawing from UFC Vegas 124.
The November 7 event was scheduled to feature a pivotal welterweight main event between top-ranked contenders Gabriel Bonfim and Sean Brady. However, Brady has been forced to pull out due to an injury, leaving Bonfim without an opponent.
Brady (19-2) was coming off a dominant victory over Joaquin Buckley in his last outing. Bonfim (20-1) is riding a five-fight winning streak that includes a victory over former UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad.
Sean Brady's injury has not been publicly disclosed and with Brady's withdrawal, Bonfim is currently without an opponent for UFC Vegas 124. The UFC has not announced whether a replacement will be found or if the main event will be removed from the card.
