As an annual two-week event on both the men's ATP and women's WTA professional tours, the tournament consistently attracts the biggest names in the sport. Since 1979, Queen's has hosted a long list of iconic players and former Wimbledon champions, including John McEnroe, Lleyton Hewitt, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, and Carlos Alcaraz.
The tournament is split into two weeks, with the women's event preceding the men's.
WTA 500 Tournament: June 8 - 14, 2026
ATP 500 Tournament: June 15 - 21, 2026
The women's championship will begin on Monday, June 8, 2026, and conclude on Sunday, June 14. The men's tournament will start the following day, Monday, June 15, and run until Sunday, June 21.
The championships take place at The Queen's Club in Barons Court, West Kensington, London. This private members' club, founded in 1886, is home to one of the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournaments in the world. The first edition was held at the club in 1890 as a joint men's and women's event. It has remained at its current location ever since, with the only interruptions being for the two World Wars.
With Carlos Alcaraz sidelined due to injury, Alex de Minaur will headline the men's draw. He is joined by last year's finalist, Jiri Lehecka, British No. 1 Cam Norrie, and rising star Rafael Jodar.
The strong field also includes Holger Rune, Tommy Paul, Lorenzo Musetti, Jack Draper, Denis Shapovalov, Marin Cilic, and Jakub Mensik.

In major news, Serena Williams has officially accepted a wild card to compete in the women's doubles draw alongside world No. 9 Victoria Mboko. Serena initially asked Katerina Siniakova to team up, but was rejected due to Siniakova's decision to rest during this tournament.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion has not played professionally since the 2022 US Open, when she stepped away from the sport while deliberately avoiding the word "retirement."
In the UK, the BBC and Amazon Prime Video typically share broadcasting rights for the Queen's Club Championships. Viewers can also stream matches live via the official Tennis TV streaming platform.
