Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are arguably the two easiest inclusions in this combined eleven. Reigning Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembele has five goals and and assist in PSG's last three UCL games leading up the final, and has scored seven goals in the tournament.
Kvaratskhelia is also scorching hot, having scored seven goals and adding three assists in his last seven matches, including at least one goal or assist in every match. He scored the third most goals this season (10), behind Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe (15), and Bayern Munich's Harry Kane (14).
None of Arsenal's forwards come close to the numbers those two players are putting up. Bukayo Saka is Arsenal best forward, but still doesn't make the team ahead of PSG's Desire Doue. Saka only has three goals and two assists in the UCL this season, compared to Doue's seven goals and five assists. Based on Champions League form, Doue clears Saka easily.
It's no surprise that PSG, the team that has scored the second most goals per match (2.8) in the Champions League this season has all three front men crack the combined eleven.
Midfield is a much tighter competition than the forwards. Declan Rice has been one of the most outstanding players in the position in the Premier League and Champions League this season, and has already found himself in upcoming Ballon d'Or conversations.
Rice has excellent ball-winning ability, and dominates his opponents box-to-box throughout nearly every match. Joao Neves is a similar player to Rice due to his ball winning ability and composure on the ball, but he offers less going forward than the Arsenal man. Neves still gets in the squad based on his ability to control the pace of the game.
Vitinha has must get a place in this squad. As one of the best passers in the world, Vitinha's ability to break defensive lines and find a streaking Dembele of Kvaratskhelia is unmatched on Arsenal's team.
Vitinha led all Champions League players this season in total distance covered (114.8 miles), and accurate passes per 90 minutes (90.6).
Arsenal's defense has been one of the best in recent memory, and Wiliam Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are a huge reason for why. The Arsenal defense has only conceded a remarkable 0.4 goals per match in the UCL, including nine clean sheets.
Both center backs are physically strong and highly capable ball-winners, and when the regain possession of the ball, can keep that possession with excellent composure and short passing ability. Both players rarely make a single mistake.
PSG's wingbacks both get in the team however due to their ability to dig in defensively and join in the attacks. Arsenals fullbacks are stout defensively, but offer very little going forward.
Nuno Mendes had two goals and two assists in the UCL this season, while Morocco's Achraf Hakimi scored twice and added six assists.
Hakimi was tied for the most assists in the competition (6) with Kvaratskhelia.
Based on Arsenal's nine UCL clean sheets, its hard to justify putting Matvey Safonov above him in the pecking order. Raya conceded a meager four goals in 13 Champions League matches this season. The Spaniard was helped out by Saliba and Gabriel ahead of him, but clean sheets are a goalkeeping stat at the end of the day.
Raya also led the UCL with a 89.2% save percentage, far and away better than Nick Pope who had the second best save percentage in the competition (82.9%).
